Posted this 3 days ago and a modo told me to start a new thread ...

Ok DONE ! :p

Hope lots of people like the idea ! ;)
Hi,

been thinking that a timer in SIBIRI CITY would be a good idea so we don't have to go back 'n'forth from one world to another all the time .

It would simplifiy the planning of the game anyways .

Have a nice day .

i really like this idea cause we are getting bored by waiting to the water to unfreeze
but the moderators/game makers would like to make this game realistic so a timer would be the opposite of it
don't dis-understand me its a very good idea i wish they find an idea that let us know when the water unfreezes with out making it look unreal

when the water is frozen about a minute ago it will look just like ice
// // // // /// // 5 to 6 minutes // // like a cobination of a water and ice
// // // // // 10 minutes ago it unfreezes
did you got the idea guys ????

maybe the man standing by the bear could tell us, how long the water is actually frozen...?

5 to ten minutes before it freezes make it look like it's about to freeze. Do the same thing before it freezes and we can have a better idea of when to return to do some fishing. But if you can fish while it looks like it's about to freeze the same issue still exists really....

I really like the idea of having some sort of timer for Sibiri. For some of us with slow computers it takes a few minutes (or up to 6 minutes for some areas) to get from one area to another, so a countdown or some sort of timer would be very useful.

I like the idea by Bezu of the water / ice varying in colour as it gets nearer to thawing, to make this simpler, it could be a two stage process,
Just frozen until 5-10 minutes before the thaw - as it is at present, looking very icy
In the last 5-10 minutes, as Bezu suggested, it could be a mixture of ice and water, maybe in patches which increase as the thaw occurs.

Alternatively, the unhappy eskimo character in Sibiri could be the countdown to the thaw.

I agree! Making the water look different during the thawing stages would be a wonderful way for us to have a "timer" that still looks natural.

What is the percentage of time this darn thing is frozen, like 50% of the time or less?

do you mean that the ice looks different depending on how long it has been frozen?

Yes, I understand, the water would have more looks then just frozen and unfrozen.

i think that would work, he's not doing anything useful currently, he could say how long it has been frozen/unfrozen and how long until it will thaw/freeze
