Private Messages

Have private messages only been kept for one month before they are deleted or is this new? I just didn't remember this until I went back to find some I was saving :-) Thanks in advance.

yes , they are deleted after exactly 30 days from their (receiving/sending) date.
maybe in order to avoid ghe excistense of too many messages and there fore chaos.
